Network Problem

I have a XP PC and a Mac. The PC connects directly to the router and my PC accesses it wireless. I have been working hard and struggling to set up file sharing between the two. The files on both computers I want to have shared are selected for sharing. When I go to Preferences>>>Sharing on my Mac, I see them.

I can see my shared PC files on my Mac. So that's all good.

Problem: I can NOT see my Mac shared files on my PC as a network place.

How do I do this!?! Please help!
