Network traffic log app?

So, since last Friday I have broadband DSL (yeah, at last!)

I have a 2 GB traffic free per month, and want to keep track how my traffic develops (obvious why). But so far I have not found an application that can what I need. There are a bunch of traffic monitors out there, but they just show the traffic at that exact moment, and don't log the traffic over a period of time. The program that came closest is Darkstat, but the HTML output does not provide the information I want and need in a suitable form.

Any suggestions how I could establish a log-file based solution that could display the transfered traffic in MB-form for every day?

Thanks in advance for any input! :)

I'd never seen such an app before but thought it might come in handy to have a look exactly how much I do download per month. I dare say it's a scary amount!

Anyway after a long search I came across an app called Ridge. It's shareware ($10) but you do get a 30 day trial. If you take a look in the prefs it gives you the option to enable the log from start-up. You can also set up the prefs to alarm you when you are near your download limit.

Hope this is what you're after.
