Networking Mac OS X 10.4.3 with NetApp FAS270

Hello,

I am looking for a reliable way to connect a Mac OS X 10.4.3 client with NETAPP FAS270 from Network Appliance.

You can connect with SMB or CIFS I find both are very good and stable. There is a problem with spotlight in that it will not index this connection so searches are SLOW, if I find a solution to that I will let you know. We have around 100 stations connected to a FAS270 and they connect well...

in the network connect to server add..

SMB://servername/sharename
or
CIFS://servername/sharename

Its that easy...
