Question for all.

I have a computer (XP PRO)acting as a NAT DHCP client for my network at home. A Cable model is conected to it and then from another net card to a hub to provide connection for the other computers I have. If I purchase a USB wireless adaptor and a Airport card for my ibook will I still be able to communicate between the USB adaptor on the XP machine and the ibook with the airport card? I just don't wanna purchase these if this senerio will not work... If anyones has done this or has some insite on this please let me know thanks

It should work fine. Airport and PC 802.11 are generally compatible with each other (aside from using different encryption schemes).

I have set up this sort of thing up couple of times. Most recently was a three way connection between a WinXP laptop with a D-Link wireless PC card, a Win98 desktop with a D-Link wireless access point, and a Titanium PowerBook G4. The only thing that took any time was figuring out how to get XP to talk to the PC card (I didn't have XP drivers), but it worked just fine.

You just need to tell XP to share your wireless connection. That's about it.
