I might me just missing to whole point but ,
Why cant I see my OSX machine in the chooser of mac's on my network, After I HAVE truned File Sharing ON (on the OSX mac).
And
Why cant my OSX Mac see the ASIP 6.3 server thats on my network ? But if I give it the ip of the server it connects to it with no problem ?

Right now apple does not support appletalk. How are you setting your network settings up. Are you using tcp/ip?

It is really odd cuz I can see other Mac's on the Network that just have file sharing via ip trun on, but not the ASIP server...? Which is set to ip and appletalk btw.
I have PC's connecting to the server via ip, so i do get why the OSX Mac cant see it?
