so i bought the new 20gb 2 days ago (my first iPod) and I'm loving it. since i haven't had an older model before, I'm not sure if this is something new, so don't make fun! 
. if im listening to the ipod, and i unplug the headphones from the top, the music pauses (the ipod sets itself to pause), then you can hooke the phones back in and hit play. do the older models do this too or does the ipod continue playing, and when you plug the headphones back in the music is a couple seconds ahead?
it really sucks that the 20gb doesnt even come with a case, sure they took out the case and dock and knocked off $100 but do they expect iPod owners to put their ipod on the table and let it get scratched? lucky my brother has a 15gb and an iskin, so i get his dock and black case (until the iSkin for the 4G comes out)
