NEW AQUA SCHEMES AND THEMES PAGE

Pity Cocoa apps don't use the layo resource. This makes it impossible to port the NeuTech theme.

Where do you put these themes to work in X?

Hi, you can\'t put them to work in OS X.
They are themes for use in Mac OS 8 or 9 with the program
Kaleidoscope 2.3.
It will give these OS\'s the LOOK of Mac OS X.
aqua_II_v20.sit is the best one of them all.
There are two exceptions....\'Liquid\' and \'Liquid Metal\'
do not know how or with what to use them.

Stop by on my site : Happicon http://members.ams.chello.nl/rmollema
for login-and bootpanels and icons for Mac OS X

Peace!

The Liquid and Liquid Metal are themes (for use with OS 8.5+), not schemes (Kal). If you want to use them, you have to put them in the Theme Files folder of the Appearance folder inside your System Folder. Phew... that\\\'s too many folders!

Put it here: <name of your hard drive>/System Folder/Appearance/Theme Files

Have fun!

Did you select which theme you want to use in the Appearance control panel? Click the Appearance tab in the CP and then select which theme you want to use... if that doesn\\\'t work then I don\\\'t know what to tell you :( Sowwy...

hi forum :)
I played around with my extras.rscr a bit
Let me see..what did I do...
-Changed the shade of the title/toolbar buttons
-Changed the menu bar highlight color
-Changed the color of progressbars and indeterminate progressbars
-Changed the colors of the titlebar when window inactive
-replaced the blue Apple with a smiley face
The rest (widgets and stuff) are still Aqua blue
I call the theme : \'ThinkPink\'
It\'s not a big woop but fun nevertheless.(its complete, all UI elements show up)
If anybodys interested i\'ll send it to you
You can see it at:
