HI I am a newbie to this site but here is my problem I just replaced the hard drive in my Imac G5 to a 250 GB hard drive which is blank. When I try to install Snow Leopard a question mark comes on the screen. what do I do to install snow leopard on the harddrive. I have tried clearing the NRAM, holding option but it does not show up, holding "c" any help would work thanks

You cannot install Snow Leopard on your G5 iMac - it's not possible.
Your iMac also can't boot to Snow Leopard , so it will not recognize the installer as a valid booting system. And, it also won't show up on the Option boot-picker screen, for the same reason
The highest (newest) version of OS X on your G5 will still be 10.5.8 (Leopard)
