I've posted a couple of treads about programs suddenly quitting and having to restart the programs, and later having the os freeze and having to restart the computer. A few days after the problems started my hard drive died. It was dead to the point I couldn't retrieve any files (thank god for external backup drives). I had the drive replaced and the tech checked the additional ram I had installed and it checked out ok; I was told in an earlier thread the ram could be bad and causing the problem.
Now, I once again seem to be having the same problem with multiple programs suddenly quitting, they're running fine and then disappear. It seems to be happening whenever I wake the computer up from sleep and log into my account. I, so far, haven't noticed the problem when I start the computer after I've shutdown.
Any ideas of what else I can check? I saved the last panic log; if any of you want to review it I'll add it to the thread.
