New Intel iMac Network Problem!

Hi everyone!

I just got a new Intel imac in the mail and am very excited to use the Internet on it. Unfortunately my Internet ran into a slight problem. My apartment recently set up a wireless router right next to my room (a Linksys Wireless-G VPN Router with Range Booster). I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to test drive my new Airport wi- fi connection. My landlord gave me all the details (3 network keys and the password). Using these turned out to be much more of an ordeal than previously thought. See my iMac has detected the network and simply asks for the right security configuration (WEP, WEPHexadecimal, LEAP, and another WEP 40/128). Now I have no idea what these mean, so i tried every password and network key that i got. According to the computer none of these are valid. At this point I'd assume that one of the keys or the password is wrong. But my neighbour next door connects just fine! He just used the second network code and the password and he has been surfing for days! This indicates that the router works too. So what is the problem? Is that model of Linksys incompatible with the new imac? Help!

There's also WPA and WPA Personal protocols. Check over your neighbour's computer and see exactly what he's using.
