new iPod doesn't start up! Received the iPod today!

I sent my iPod for repair and i got it back today. A totally new one ! But it can't start up!! At this moment it's connected to my iMac and there doesn't come a "Do not disconnect" picture on the iPod........ I've try to start my iPod up when connected to the adapter, didn't work either!

And holding menu and play/pause for 10 sec doesn't work either........

Can anyone help me?

Apple might be able to help, send the iPod back. First, though, you should try to call Apple tech supp

yep, i went to an Apple store today and they said to call apple themselves.....
