New Site... Whacha Think

Do you really need to use frames? It might be better to just toss that banner at the top of your HTML files then require the user navigate the page each time... not to mention that frames inherently break the way a user browsers the web- where hitting the back button only changes one frame...

Your top banner is too large if your going to use frames. Even at higher resolutions I can imagine lots of problems reading your content.

I think you should work on the color of your bottom frame a bit more and try to make the colors relate to the photo some more. Your orange is way too blown out and detracts from the design elements that are subtle in the banner.

your font on the navigation is a little too oblique. I found it difficult to read.

your newsgroups are blue...

no more concious thought... must sleep.

i agree lose the frames. i also have another suggestion.... lose the wrestling.

Post copies of each wresteler's scripts from each show.

Or even better, do what rinse said, loose the acting.. err wrestling :D :p

Okay, apart from not enough girls, the site doesn't really "look" like wrestling - not quite "solid" enough - though I'm sure it will when you've developed it more.

Some Quicktime would be good, but how would that square up with royalties etc? The way we hear it over here, in the US, if someone sneezes somebody else sues for copyright.

wrestlesolid.com is a good name. We've got an NWA UK affiliate over here called hammerlock-wrestling.com, it's a fairly simple site but I think it's got the right look - for the state of the wrestling business over here, anyway.

As for acting - in the UK it used to be different. I was a wrestler for a time (a short time) and if you couldn't scrap you were hospitalised. That was at amateur and pro levels. No script.

Be nice, these geezers are BIG!

it's just temporary... i quickly threw together a site so I could get ownership (since i was fighting for it with someone else)

it's easily more readable than some of the other text i had considered...

your newsgroups are blue...
i haven't gotten control over the forums yet... i get that today or tomorrow...

Not enough girls!
just wait :D

again... it was developed VERY quickly...

Some Quicktime would be good
quicktime and other video will come soon...

wrestlesolid.com is a good name.
thank you :) it wasn't my decision, but i did play a part in the choosing of it when it was originally being developed!

Hi, BlingBling.

Just thought I'd let you know someone's still taking an interest in your project!

Looks like it's coming along nicely. Try to get audio on the movies when you eventually get them - it'd be fun to hear the wrestlers' learned arguments, their erudition, their verbal interactivity...:)

Cheers, Lazzo
