New Video Card for my iMac?

Is it possible to upgrade my 500 MHz iMac DV-SE with a new video card? It says my current card (Rage Pro 128 by ATI) is running on a PCI slot.

So what are my options for new cards and where can I look into buying them. Thanks.

Sorry to disapoint you but it is impossible to replace the videocard in the
imac.. Because the videocard is part of the motherboard. There is no pci slot for it... Sorry..

En hoe weet je dat zo zeker? Zijn er geen externe videokaarten? Via FireWire ofzo?
And how do you know that for sure? Aren't there extern videocards? Via FireWire or something?

Iam 100% sure about it its impossible...

Buy a G4 secondhand G4 if you want better Graphix i did the same thing

Actually it is on a PCI bus, (just to follow the standards), but it isn't possible to change out the ATI chip unless you have the motherboard schematics and you're a hardware expert
