Newbie Apache User

Hi, is there an easy to understand FAQ out there for a newbie trying to set up a web server under the OS X Final Release? I got the web sharing turned on in the Sharing "Control Panel" but I can't figure out how to use aliases to other folders on my hard disk.

Help anyone?
