Newbie Help

New to the board. So far I like it. I used the search to see if anybody else has had problems with osX when copying to a server for storage but nothing was found. Has anybody had these problems and if so how did you remidy them? It was fine when using os 9.1 but since the switch nothing can copy. Also, anybody here using osX to send postscript files to a imagesetter RIP? If so let me know, I need to talk to you...

This may be pretty banal, but I had problems once - a lot of my folders had a slash / symbol in their names, and I kept getting error messages till I figured out that being a Unix, OS X doesn't like these symbols.
