nfs password

When I try to connect to another unix box using "connect to server" in Finder using something like nfs://192.9.200.100 I cannot get it to prompt me for my user name and password. Seems ridiculous. Anybody know how to do this. I have downloaded sw called NFS manager which works but surley I connect via nfs using finder.

I just meant that I cant mount a file system from a remote machine because it is expecting to be logged on to that machine with a username/password. I am on 10.3.3 but I am sure that could do it it with 10.3.2 by using "connect to server" with the right ip address and a directory to go to.
