Nimda worm

Can the Nimda worm hut a Mac? Or is this just a feature of a PC. My understanding is that its just a PC thing.

It has no real affect for Macs, other than slowing down the connection speed with all the network it creates. It could also affect you if you are trying to access a PC that is susceptible to it. Other than that, no worries.
