No dice no matter what

I attempted install with my current setup as listed below and even went so far as to disconnect everything and put the computer back to stock status(aside from the G4 card) and I still get stuck at the smiley faced mac after the reboot. It just sits there with that face until I force reboot. Oh well, guess Ill have to wait for the third partys to make their upgrades. Good luck to all others.

I have read somewhere on http://www.xlr8yourmac.com that there is some issues with G4 upgrade cards. My 9600 has a Newer G3/400 card and seems to work just fine as long as my external scsi zip is not powered on.

On the back of the OS X folder that Apple ships it says "processor upgrade cards nor supported"

I got it to work by taking out my G4 Sonnet card and replacing my G3 Newer Tech card but now I cant start up in OSX. I can only startup by holding down option and then boot into OS9. I'll just live life in the fast lane with OS9 till Sonnet gets compatible.
