no Logitech mouse support at all?

Now though I always liked the Logitech mice themselves, their support and software have always been absolutely horrible. I finally called them today just to ask about an ETA for OS X drivers, and the guy said that there might not ever be drivers for it. Please tell me that this guy was just a complete dumbass and had no idea what he was talking about.

This is true, there are no Logitech specific drivers for osx. The systems generic driver DOES work in some apps though. The first mouse button and alternate mouse button work fine, but if you have a third one, as I do, it does nothing except for select apps. The scroll wheel works ONLY in Cocoa apps or Carbon apps that specifically support the mousewheel. I hope that either Logitech or Apple come through with better drives, or I guess a lot of us will just have to wait till USB Overdrive is ported :)

Yeah, it's the middle button that I need. I need it to paste. USB Overdrive. A hah. I never really used Macs before OS X, but that looks like it will be fine, plus he said he is working on it for X. Excellent. :)
