No more mac help

When I open Mac Help, I get a blank help window. If I either press the Home button in the toolbar, or invoke MacHelp.Help directly from where it resides in /Library/Documentation I get the initial screen, but none of the links work and searching for a topic doesn't work either.

All the help files for other apps seem to work.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I thought I'd try to restore the MacHelp.Help file from my tiger installation DVD, but I couldn't find the bare file on the disc.

Go to User/Library/Preferences and trash the following files:

com.apple.help.plist
com.apple.helpui.plist
com.apple.helpviewer.plist

Next go to User/Library/Caches and delete the com.apple.helpui folder.

The Help Viewer preferences and/or caches file corruption may cause this problem.

Delete the following files, then restart and try Help.

HOME/Library/Preferences/com.apple.help.plist
HOME/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpviewer.plist
HOME/Library/Cashes/com.apple.helpui (folder)
