No notice when battery is about to die; it just shuts off

For some reason, my Macbook doesn't give me any notice that the battery is about to die. It just shuts off. And it shuts off when it says there is at least 20 min. left. The previous owner said he did have the battery replaced on account of the recall, but not sure if that's true based on what's happening.

what is the cycle count of your battery? here is how to get this info:

if you have a low cycle count, then we can try resetting the power manager.

if you have a high cycle count... then we might need to look into getting a new battery.

I spoke to AppleCare and they said I needed to replace my battery. So I did (under warranty). Works great now!

It now has a Cycle count of 2. So, that is how many times I have charged it? How may cycle counts is considered high?
