Not a problem, just odd?

I run OS X 10.1.1 and I use Entourage 2001. I started classic and while it was starting I open IE (For OS X) and forgot that classic was starting so I clicked my mail icon and it booted Entourage before classic was done booting. Is it just me or does it seem odd that a classic app could be up and running before classic is?

i'm not familiar with entourage. is it a carbon app? that could explain this, maybe. does sound a little weird to me, but then i'm still getting used to running osx apps. while classic starts. was it fully functional after launching?

No it's not a carbon app! That's what makes it wierd! It functioned just fine. I'm wondering that once libraries it uses are loaded if a classic app is good to go. Well I don't know and I haven't tried since it happened before.
