Not able to see wireless printer

I have a Time Capsule and I just turned on the Guest Account. In order for me to do this I changed the DHCP setting under the Internet tab to change the DHCP Beginning Address to 10.x.x.x. For those using either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz wireless network they have no problems using the HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless printer since it connects to the either of two available wireless networks. I use Qwest as my ISP.

Further away I have two Mac laptops who cannot access the two wireless networks due to signal strength. I hooked up a AE using an existing ethernet connection. I setup PPOE manually on the AE and then created a new wireless network and the addresses are in the same range - 10.x.x.x when connected wirelessly but I cannot "see" the HP wireless printer.

Is it possible for the two users connecting to the AE to every "see" the HP wireless printer?

Thank you for looking.

Does you printer use the private IP space? What version of Wireless security, frequency are you using? We need these answers to help you!

Plus have you reconnected back to the printers and set it up for you new wireless connection (or USB since it is connected via USB, assuming you set the Extreme to share this USB connected printer)?

Thank you Satcomer.

No, HP wireless printer does not use a private IP space.
WP2 Personal and b/g/n

The printer is lets say upstairs and the two laptops that cannot "see" the printer are downstairs. The printer only knows and is connected to one wireless network. The Apple Extreme will not the printer that is upstairs connected to its USB port.

Thank you!

Take a Ethernet cable and plug into the Extreme from your Mac (if possible or if your are already wireless connected to it). Then launch /Applications/Utilities/Airport Utility. In the left of Airport Utility highlight your Extreme and in the right hand pane select "Manual SetUp". Then at the top of the Manual Setup highlight "Printers". There you will be able to setup the connected printer to share with network.

Plus check out the Mac OS X Hint's article Reset existing printers to use with Airport.
