Not sure if this was covered already, will Jaguar cd upgrade all previous versions?

DooBall

Where's your head at?
I have the original OS X (1.0), and the 10.1 upgrade cd.

Will Jaguar be able to patch a fresh install of OS X 1.0 to 1.2 w/o the 10.1 upgrade cd in between?

Didn't really find an answer with search.

Yes, 10.2 will install even if you don't have OS X, it's an install CD, not a patch.

On a sidenote, it's 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2, not 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2

if you _really_ have an update CD (like the one delivered with the latest iMacs recently), you can use the same trick to make a full one like has worked with 10.1.

izzat so? to be honest, i attibute the lack of jaguar upgrade disks to the fact of people pirating 10.1 (puma). i view this as our punishment for spreading the knowledge on how to cheat copies of puma, so we all have to pay for jaguar.
