I have a Maxtor OneTouch 250 GB external HD. earlier it was formatted in FAT32, and i could read and write on it when attached to my iMac. For saving large files on it from my PC, i had to format it in NTFS. Now when I connect it to my mac, I have read only access. it doesnt let me save anything on it from mac. is there a way to get write access on it while keeping it in NTFS format? OS on my mac is 10.3.2 and on PC is Windows XP SP1. Thanks for your help.

I believe that Mac OS X includes read-only access for NTFS drives. Read at the bottom:

I don't think anything other than Windows can write to NTFS volumes.. there may be a hack for Linux to be able to but it's not licensed/supported by MS.
