NTFS fixing

Are there any apps on the mac that can fix faults on NTFS drives? Specially ones that when mounted do not appear on desktop!

Even if there were, I wouldn't... NTFS is merely supported. If an NTFS volume is corrupt, I'd attach it to a PC and get it fixed there.
