I am looking to delete some files that follow a specific naming convention. Basically they are a form of backup file, and between the regular file name and the extension, the backups have a 4 digit number. So
    File.RFA
    File.0001.RFA
    File.0002.RFA
    etc.

What I would like is to filter for *.####.RFA. Is this possible within Automator natively, or does it require a Shell Script? I found a reference to Regex File Renamer, but if there is a way to do this natively I would like to find it, as file renaming isn't the only time I imagine wanting RegEx or even simple wildcard capabilities in Automator.

    Thanks!
    Gordon
