I'm trying to weight up the ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT or NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT for a new MacPro. Screen rotation is important to me because I have 2 x 21" screens, one in landscape and one in portrait.
I know the ATI card has VersaVision for screen rotation, but what about the NVIDIA GeForce 8800? Their NVRotate software appears to be Windows only. Can anyone tell me if screen rotation can be handled by the operating system itself? That seemed to be the case for some cards in the past.
