OCR on Mac Book Pro?

My Mac Book Pro has Presto Page Manager software installed, but it looks like just plug-ins or something like that, and one of them has an icon that looks like the Office for Mac icon. Maybe it was installed with Office?

I need to scan and and OCR a document, but I have no idea how. Is this Presto Page Manager functional, or am I missing something? How do I scan and then implement the Presto Page Manager?

Any other good OCR solutions out there for Mac?
 
Just some weeks ago I had a one time OCR job and installed about any OCR demo available. The results: the only really useful solution to my text was from Readiris. The demo was iirc only restricted in the number of pages you want to recognize in one run. I was very satisfied with the precision.
 
Now the question is whether it'll run in Rosetta or it's a Universal already...
