Office 2004 Applications Not Starting

I have been running Office 2004 on my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.4.11) and it was working fine for couple of years till today. All of a sudden WORD crashed, and now none of the Office applications would start. Not getting any error messages. Just clicking on the applications and nothing happens. I tried the suggestions on some previous forums here regarding font corruption/ font duplications and they didn't fix the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd back up your Microsoft User Data folder (In the Docuemnts folder) then try reinstalling Office.
