Office 2004 Saving error

I have a user on a MAC mini that is having issues saving Word documents. On the third save of the document (yes the third save, I am able to reproduce this easily) an error is generated stating that there is not enough disk space. It does not matter where you try to save the file it fails with the same error. Since the file was on a network share I moved it locally onto the MAC mini, same results.

Since there are other users that use the same computer and they are not reporting any problems, I believe this to be related to the linked charts inserted into the doc. I am not able to find anything about this error, HELP.

Word has been plagued by problems like this for years. When I was in Tech Support for Microsoft we were told the first line of defense against this kind of problem was to turn off "fast save". Since that portion of the code base hasn't changed much I would certainly be worth a try.
