Ok -
Most of us agree that OS X is hot. We like its looks. We like it's functionality.
We would probably also agree that there is anything but a flow of useful applications for it (right now). Sure, Omniweb has a great browser, Sharity has cross-platform network support, etc., but most of the apps are simple experiments in cocoa/carbon.
Now, assuming this OS is great, and that opportunities to do I.T. consulting work on cutting edge systems/platforms (i.e. - web, e-commerce, etc.) don't come very often, how can someone capitalize on this?
Are there companies out there (particularly in DC/Northern VA) that are interested in jumping into this? Or perhaps individuals out there that want to start a company around these opportunities?
Thanks,
Eric Doggett
