B.A. Economics (Hon)
I had an idea.
I was thinking that perhaps Apple didn't include a proprietary (iSound ) sound recording software in OS X to allow software developers to come up with ones themselves.
Economically it benefits Apple in the following ways:
- Boosts X software development, because you know someone will make one, and may have.
- Allows big sound engines to be written by experienced engineers in that field, and take devlopment load off Apple (cheaper for them and you end up with better software).
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I think it wasn't so much an oversight on the part of Apple as it was a deliberate omission.
Thoughts?
