One User is slow

problem: One user is running really slowly, while the other users run just fine. The user that's running slowly is the main one I use, so I'm either going to have to port all my documents to the other user or fix the slow user. Also, it will run fine for the first 15 minutes or so when I restart the computer, but then it gets slow again so I either shut it down again or log into the other user.

I've tried:
1. Just using the other user, but this is getting annoying.
2. Going to the mac store for free support. They ran I diagnostic test and cleared the cache's.
3. Booting it in safe mode. This actually made it slow immediately when I logged in rather than it becoming slow after ~15 minutes.

Potential solutions:
1. Something that's proposed here.
2. paid support from the mac store.
3. Transporting all my files to the fast user.

What does this user or his/her account have that the other users don't have?

Would there be thousands of user-specific fonts? That could be one cause.
Are there any programs etc set to start automatically for this user when he logs in? Those could be taking the time when the user logs in, making it sluggish.
If there are any login programs or scripts, test with them disabled or moved for a while, (System Preferences > search for login items, disable any)
Are there different programs being used by the user?

I have different programs on the other user. But, I never use them. There are no applications that automatically start up in either user.
