What are your Macs specs please Leon. Also important is that you downloaded the correct version of OnyX for Leopard.

Were you using your Mac while OnyX was running?

Were you prompted to restart at any point and were there any successful restarts before the freeze?

Can you recall which sections/tabs in OnyX you were using prior to the restart that has frozen your Mac?

I use the Cleaning and Maintenance Tabs only.

yes, I downloaded the most recent version (as the one you show in the attachment)

I quit all my application and performed a "cleaning"

it did the cleaning process in a blink of an eye

and then it told me to restart my computer, I did as it says so

after that, I found myself in the situation I am in right now

What are the specs of your Mac ? Do you have your System Discs? You could try booting from the Install Disc and run Disc Utility to Repair Permissions/HD to see if that helps. Boot from the disc holding the C key after the startup chime and navigate through the options until you see the Menu Bar has Utilities in it. You'll find Disc Utility there.

Try starting up in Safe Boot. Hold the Shift key when booting until you see the Apple logo. It will take longer than normal to fully boot.
