Open Office 3.2 quits

I'm a PC k12 computer tech that just got assigned a new total Mac school. I'm new to the mac enviroment and have a teacher who cannot open open office under her login but it will open in my admin acct. I'm thinking it is an application with a corrupt profile but not sure how to delete it or fix it.

To reset any application in OS X (barring any real software bar code) can be reset by going (in the affected user's Home folder) go to the folder /TheHardDrive/Users/UserName/Library/Preferences/ and in your problem throw out any file with and OpenOffice preference file in it. See if that helps.
