So I downloaded a little guy this morning that ends with sea. It was specifically a Mac file, and intended for OSX at that. So why doesn't my Mac know what to do with it?
Well dropping it onto Stuffit did the trick .. sort of. It created a new sea file that runs an installer, but the installer freezes. Not a Stuffit problem, but it still sucks.
It doesn't have 100% of all file extensions listed, but a good site to find out about file extensions is Filext.com. Has solved a few obscure or other OS specific queries I had. May come in handy for future reference.
I had a client send me a .sea a few weeks ago, and I'm running 10.3.4 at work. Stuffit Expander didn't work for me, so I used File Buddy to change the file type to a .sitx...I didn't really think that this would work, but it did.
