Hi, is here someone working with impress of OpenOffice? When I import a file for ex. a mp3 or an QT movie I get the message "this format will not supported". I guess I need some additional extensions for OpenOffice. Any help welcome. Thanks, Matse from Germany

I don't know if Impress can import audio or video files. Does PowerPoint support that?

Peace...

I´m not sure, I don´t work with PowerPoint. I use Keynote, but a friend of mine has switched, and he told me that Impress under "MS Windows" supports such files.

Wow, I didn't know this was possible. I found this on the OpenOffice forum. I'm not sure if any of that info applies to OO on OS X. Are you running OO 2.0?

Peace...

Not to sound trite, but there is probably a very good reason for that observation. Native OO on Mac seems to be an abandoned project, and until a Cocoa/Carbon port of OO exists on the Mac, you can bet not many will be using it.
