OpenOffice & Panther

I've installed Mac OS X 10.3 in a PowerMac G4, I've installed also the X11 application that came with the Mac OS Panther. When I tried to install the last OpenOffice 1.0.3 the installed crashed before the end.
I had instaled previously installed X11 beta and OpenOffice 1.0.3 but trashed it before install Panther OS
 
I use OpenOffice on Panther on a regular basis and it's ok. It's true the installation was tricky. I remember needing fink to install a few things and I had to check all the documentation. BTW I installed the full Panther (including all options and the tools).
 
I installed OpenOffice too on 10.3 and use it with X11. The first version I tried to install did not want to get installed, but the 2nd try (and 2nd file) was successful. :-/
