Opinions on Epson Stylus CX5400 ?

I'm getting sick and tired of my Stylus Color 777i (the colors never blend properly on images, it's slow, and it even dies some of the time). I've had this printer for quite a while and I think it's time for an upgrade.

I noticed the Epson Stylus CX5400 has a heck of a lot of functions for a 150 $ printer!

Opinions?
 
Do you need a scanner and a photocopier? You actually should get a printer that meets your needs. If you need a photo printer I suggest the R300.
If you just need a good printer I suggest the C84.

I have heard more bad things about those all in ones... no matter who makes them.
 
One or the other feature does not work. You may have trouble with the scanner part and end up trying a shareware program to use it.

I have a Lexmark all in one (standing alone- that is not connected to a computer) and the copies are terrible. It is a color copier and that does not work well. While it is a couple of years old... we now use it for faxing only.

I suggest you go to a brick store like CompUSA and actually use it before buying.
