Optimum Settings for Classic 9 in OSX

I am looking for information on the extensions and control panels that I can turn off in the classic environment in OSX. I am also interested in which OSX version is best for Classic, that is 10.3.? I use a program called HyperStudio which has not moved to 10 yet. It does play quicktime movies and sounds. thanks in advance
 
Try launching Classic with extensions off. If that
doesn't do it --

Diddle around with Extensions Manager, starting with
the "Mac OS Basic" set. If that fails, move up to "Mac
OS All." Then add/delete from the startup set until you
get what works for you.

It's a fun game to play. It'll while away many hours.
