Option clickin'

I'm not sure if anyone has said this before, but to hide an app, while that application is in front, just option click anywhere outside of the main window and poof! your app is nice and hidden!
To "hide" the finder you can option click the menu bar clock, although i don't know what hiding the finder does...

This isn't new with OSX, it goes all the way back to System 7 at least

It just hides the Finder like it would any other app. I mean, the Finder is an app too, ya know.
