OS 10.2 Compatible Scanner

Since upgrading to Jaguar, I am looking for a good flatbed scanner that will run in native mode in 10.2. I will be scanning mostly photos and would like to find something with a price under $300. I don't need alot of "bells and whistles" such as automatic feeders and the like but do need something that i can use with Photoshop 7. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Any of the recent (1250/1260, 1650/1660, etc.) Epson Perfection scanners will work.

You can use their software, or Vuescan. I have the 1260photo with Vuescan. Infact, I haven't even taken the driver cd out of the paper slip since i got it! :->
 
any thoughts on the standards of OCR you get with these new Epson scanners?

Do they still deafault to OS9 for that pleasure

Canon LiDE 30 for personal light scanning .... works great ---- been using it for about a year now with no Issues --- native to OSx too ....
