OS 10.6.4 Active Directory Issues

We are having issues with a newer iMac that is unable to bind to our Windows Domain it gives an “Invalid user name and password combination” error, even I am using the correct credentials, and we have an older iMac with Snow leopard and all of the recent updates identical to the newer machine and it is able to bind to our domain, without any issue.

That iMac first has to be added to the Domain with a Domain Administrator's Account! Then in the Domain server if you choose the domain User's home folder should stay there then you have to set that up in the Domain. So in 10.6 a Domain Administrator (not a Mac user Administrators account) needs to open System Preferences->Accounts pane, Login Items, Join button. From there follow you nose and use a Domain Administrator's Account to join the Active Directory.

Now the stupid question's phase. What "Windows Domain" are you speaking about, 2003, 2007, 2010? what version of OS X are you running, 10.4.x, 10.5Xx or 10.6.x?
