OS 10.6.5. Mail Crashing

Mail crashing after 30 - 90 seconds. Did all normal, disk repair, remove .plist, even downloaded 10.6.5 combo installer and installed again... still crashing. Removed .mac account and it stabilizes - not sure if that totally cures it, but when I add the .mac account back in, it crashes immediately.

Please help.
