OS 9 on a different partition???

Hi,

New to Mac and I would like to know how to move OS 9 to a different disk?

I have 3 hard drives on a dual boot system.

Also, what is the easiest wa to create my own bootable recovery CD as I could in Winblows using ghost?

OS 9 is simple, just copy the System folder to another disk/partition. Helpful also to copy your OS 9 apps and other OS 9 items for neatness. You can delete those from your main disk, then.

For OS9 recovery disks, you could use the Apple Software Restore SDK from the Apple FTP. You make an image of the disk, then run a script on it that makes it work with the ASR application.

And for making an OS X boot-able disk, check out BootCD (http://www.charlessoft.com/). I have used it, it works quite well.
