OS 9 to OS 10.4 on a G4 partition

Hi all,

I am currently working, primarily, in Pro Tools 6 in 10.3.7 on a dual 1.25 G4.

I have a hard drive partition running OS 9.x that I never use.

Is it possible to remove OS 9 on that partition and install 10.4.x?

I really want to keep my 10.3.7 set up as is because I use a Digi001 soundcard and it's the last version of OS X that it runs on.

How large is that partition? It needs to be 8GB or more in order to have a chance of running 10.4.
