OS of MacOSX.com

The impression I get is that it's on Linux instead of osX. I'm guessing this isn't very important... ;)
i think this does say something about how successful a server OS that doesn't run on cheap commodity hardware is likely to be...

Good point. We have been running Linux based servers since 1996 and find that they are awesome. Can't fantom the thought of sticking a macintosh in a rack. With UNIX foundation of OS X, it is now usable as a server machine (Mac), but again, am I going to stick a Cube on a server rack? Think not.

Sticking a Mac OS X box on a rack seems like a waste of beauty and money. Money especially.

But having a *nix base in Mac OS X should make incorporating OS X into an enterprise environment easier. Or possible, really.
