os shows external tv even if disconnected

Hi

I connected an external TV in my Mac and now, it's always shown as an additional display, even if its disconnected and powered off!!!

I tried plugging and unplugging, plugging and powering off, mirroring, changing the finder from one screen to the other and then back, but nothing works.

Right now I'm using SwitchRes to disable the external TV but I want to delete the TV from the display list!, the TV is not connected!, this is crazy...

Any ideas?

Just Reset Your PRAM to see if that helps.

did so, didnt work. Isnt there a file with an entry I could delete?
