Encountered my first system problem with OS X today.
After rebuilding my machine fresh, I had it on sleep for the entire day; after waking up the machine and trying to start IE, I consistently got a "application quit, other applications are okay" message dialog. Multiple attempts to restart IE failed and I ended up having to reboot.
Guess something in memory must have gotten corrupted during sleep.
